signapk is a command line tool for signing ZIP files, including JARs, APKs, and Over-The-Air (OTA) updates, in a way compatible with Android’s mincrypt verifier, using EC or RSA keys and SHA1 or SHA-256. The tool can additionally sign APKs using APK Signature Scheme v2. It is the standard tool used to sign APK and JAR files distributed as part of Android ROMs.

There are three methods to install signapk on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install signapk Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install signapk using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install signapk

Install signapk Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install signapk using apt by running the following command:
