How To Install shunit2 on Kali Linux

What is shunit2
shunit2 is:
shUnit2 was originally developed to provide a consistent testing solution for log4sh, a shell based logging framework similar to log4j. It is designed to work in a similar manner to JUnit, PyUnit, etc.
There are three methods to install shunit2
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install shunit2 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install shunit2
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install shunit2

After updating apt database, We can install shunit2

by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install shunit2
Install shunit2 Using aptitude
