What is shovill
shovill is:
Shovill is a pipeline which uses SPAdes at its core, but alters the steps before and after the primary assembly step to get similar results in less time. Shovill also supports other assemblers like SKESA, Velvet and Megahit, so you can take advantage of the pre- and post-processing the Shovill provides with those too.
There are three methods to install shovill
on Debian 11. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install shovill Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install shovill
using apt-get
by running the following command:
