How To Install senlin-doc on Debian 11

In this tutorial we learn how to install senlin-doc
on Debian 11.
What is senlin-doc
senlin-doc is:
Senlin is a clustering service for OpenStack clouds. It creates and operates clusters of homogeneous objects exposed by other OpenStack services. The goal is to make the orchestration of collections of similar objects easier.
Senlin provides RESTful APIs to users so that they can associate various policies to a cluster. Sample policies include placement policy, load balancing policy, health policy, scaling policy, update policy and so on.
Senlin is designed to be capable of managing different types of objects. An object’s lifecycle is managed using profile type implementations, which are themselves plugins.

There are three methods to install senlin-doc
on Debian 11. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install senlin-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install senlin-doc
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install senlin-doc
Install senlin-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install senlin-doc
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install senlin-doc
Install senlin-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install senlin-doc
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install senlin-doc
How To Uninstall senlin-doc on Debian 11
To uninstall only the senlin-doc
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove senlin-doc
Uninstall senlin-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall senlin-doc
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 11, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove senlin-doc
Remove senlin-doc Configurations and Data
To remove senlin-doc
configuration and data from Debian 11 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge senlin-doc
Remove senlin-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove senlin-doc
