How To Install sendpage-common on Kali Linux

What is sendpage-common

sendpage-common is:

To send alphanumeric pages to a pager, if an email gateway is unavailable or undesirable, software is needed to control a modem which will dial a Paging Central, and deliver the pages using an ASCII delivery system known as TAP. Sendpage implements all aspects of this type of software, including an SNPP client, an SNPP server, a queuing engine, a modem control engine, a TAP communication system, and an email notification system.

This package provides the Perl modules used to process SNPP and TAP pages.

There are three methods to install sendpage-common on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install sendpage-common Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install sendpage-common using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install sendpage-common
