How To Install seahorse-daemon on Kali Linux

What is seahorse-daemon

This is the agent program for seahorse which keeps a temporary secure storage of your pass phrases.
Seahorse is a front end for GnuPG - the GNU Privacy Guard program - that integrates to the GNOME desktop. It is a tool for secure communications and data storage. Data encryption and digital signature creation can easily be performed through a GUI and Key Management operations can easily be carried out through an intuitive interface.
There are three methods to install seahorse-daemon on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install seahorse-daemon Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install seahorse-daemon using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install seahorse-daemonInstall seahorse-daemon Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install seahorse-daemon using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
