How To Install sdformat-sdf on Ubuntu 18.04

SDF is an XML file format that describes environments, objects, and robots in a manner suitable for robotic applications. SDF is capable of representing and describing different physic engines, lighting properties, terrain, static or dynamic objects, and articulated robots with various sensors, and acutators. The format of SDF is also described by XML, which facilitates updates and allows conversion from previous versions. A parser is also contained within this package that reads SDF files and returns a C++ interface.
This package contains SDF (Simulation Description Format) XML files needed by the libsdformat.
There are three methods to install sdformat-sdf on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install sdformat-sdf Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install sdformat-sdf using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install sdformat-sdf using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install sdformat-sdf using aptitude by running the following command:

How To Uninstall sdformat-sdf on Ubuntu 18.04
