How To Install sdformat on CentOS 7

In this tutorial we learn how to install sdformat
on CentOS 7.
What is sdformat
The Simulation Description Format http ASL 2.0 The Simulation Description Format (SDF) is an XML file format used to describe all the elements in a software simulation environment. Originally part of the Gazebo 3D robotic simulator, sdformat is a C++ library for reading and writing files in the sdf format.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install sdformat
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install sdformat.
Install sdformat on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
After updating yum database, We can install sdformat
using yum
