How To Install scribus on Debian 10

What is scribus
scribus is:
Scribus is an open source desktop page layout program with the aim of producing commercial grade output in PDF and Postscript.
Scribus can be used for many tasks; from brochure design to newspapers, magazines, newsletters and posters to technical documentation.
Scribus supports professional DTP features, such as CMYK color and a color management system to soft proof images for high quality color printing, flexible PDF creation options, Encapsulated PostScript import/export and creation of 4 color separations, import of EPS/PS and SVG as native vector graphics, Unicode text including right to left scripts such as Arabic and Hebrew via freetype. Graphic formats which can be placed in Scribus as images include PDF, Encapsulated Post Script (eps), TIFF, JPEG, PNG and XPixMap(xpm), and any bitmap type supported by QT4.
If you need to use the render frame install the texlive-latex-recommended package (suggested).
There are three methods to install scribus on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install scribus Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install scribus using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install scribus

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install scribus using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install scribus
Install scribus Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install scribus using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install scribus
How To Uninstall scribus on Debian 10
To uninstall only the scribus package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove scribus
Uninstall scribus And Its Dependencies
To uninstall scribus and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove scribus
Remove scribus Configurations and Data
To remove scribus configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge scribus
Remove scribus configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
