This package also provides Xcos, a graphical editor to design hybrid dynamical systems models. Models can be designed, loaded, saved, compiled and simulated. Stable and efficient solution for industrial and academics needs, Xcos provides functionalities for modeling of mechanical systems (automotive, aeronautics…), hydraulic circuits (dam, pipe modeling…), control systems, etc. Modelica capabilities are also provided.
This package contains the test files (unitary, non regression, performance …) for Scilab.

There are three methods to install scilab-test on Debian 11. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install scilab-test Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install scilab-test using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install scilab-test

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install scilab-test using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install scilab-test
How To Uninstall scilab-test on Debian 11
To uninstall only the scilab-test package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove scilab-test
Uninstall scilab-test And Its Dependencies
To uninstall scilab-test and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 11, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove scilab-test
Remove scilab-test Configurations and Data
To remove scilab-test configuration and data from Debian 11 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge scilab-test
