How To Install sbd on Ubuntu 18.04

SBD provides a node fencing mechanism (Shoot the other node in the head, STONITH) for Pacemaker-based clusters through the exchange of messages via shared block storage such as for example a SAN, iSCSI, FCoE. It can be used as a STONITH mechanism in all configurations that have reliable shared storage.
There are three methods to install sbd on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install sbd Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get -y autoremove sbd
Remove sbd Configurations and Data
To remove sbd configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge sbd
