on CentOS 7.
What is satyr
Satyr is a library that can be used to create and process microreports. Microreports consist of structured data suitable to be analyzed in a fully automated manner, though they do not necessarily contain sufficient information to fix the underlying problem. The reports are designed not to contain any potentially sensitive data to eliminate the need for review before submission. We can use yum
or dnf
to install satyr
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install satyr.
Install satyr on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
After updating yum database, We can install satyr
using yum
by running the following command:
Install satyr on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
