What is sac2mseed

sac2mseed is:

SAC and MiniSEED are two commonly used formats for seismological data.

sac2mseed converts SAC waveform data to MiniSEED format. By default the format of the input files is automatically detected: alpha or binary (byte order autodetected).

There are three methods to install sac2mseed on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install sac2mseed Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install sac2mseed using apt-get by running the following command:
