How To Install rubygem-mustache on CentOS 8

What is rubygem-mustache
Inspired by ctemplate, Mustache is a framework-agnostic way to render logic-free views. As ctemplates says, “It emphasizes separating logic from presentation it is impossible to embed application logic in this template language. Think of Mustache as a replacement for your views. Instead of views consisting of ERB or HAML with random helpers and arbitrary logic, your views are broken into two parts template.
We can use yum or dnf to install rubygem-mustache on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install rubygem-mustache.
Install rubygem-mustache on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install rubygem-mustache using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install rubygem-mustache
Install rubygem-mustache on CentOS 8 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install rubygem-mustache using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install rubygem-mustache
How To Uninstall rubygem-mustache on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the rubygem-mustache package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove rubygem-mustache
