How To Install ruby-toml on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install ruby-toml on Kali Linux.
What is ruby-toml
ruby-toml is:
TOML aims to be a minimal configuration file format that’s easy to read due to obvious semantics. TOML is designed to map unambiguously to a hash table. TOML should be easy to parse into data structures in a wide variety of languages.
This package provides TOML parser for Ruby.
There are three methods to install ruby-toml on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ruby-toml Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-toml using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ruby-tomlInstall ruby-toml Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-toml using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ruby-tomlInstall ruby-toml Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-toml using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ruby-tomlHow To Uninstall ruby-toml on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the ruby-toml package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-tomlUninstall ruby-toml And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ruby-toml and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-tomlRemove ruby-toml Configurations and Data
To remove ruby-toml configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ruby-tomlRemove ruby-toml configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ruby-toml configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge ruby-tomlDependencies
