How To Install ruby-threach on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install ruby-threach on Kali Linux.
What is ruby-threach
ruby-threach is:
An addition to the Enumerable Ruby module that allows easy use of threaded each and each-like iterators. It’s a very simple producer-consumer model.
If you’re using stock (MRI) ruby – you probably shouldn’t bother with threach unless you’re doing IO-intensive stuff. It’ll just slow things down. But if you’re using a ruby implementation that has real threads, like JRuby, this will give you relatively painless multi-threading.
There are three methods to install ruby-threach on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ruby-threach Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-threach using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ruby-threachInstall ruby-threach Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-threach using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ruby-threachInstall ruby-threach Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-threach using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ruby-threachHow To Uninstall ruby-threach on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the ruby-threach package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-threachUninstall ruby-threach And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ruby-threach and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-threachRemove ruby-threach Configurations and Data
To remove ruby-threach configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ruby-threachRemove ruby-threach configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ruby-threach configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge ruby-threachDependencies
