How To Install ruby-shoulda on Kali Linux

What is ruby-shoulda
ruby-shoulda is:
Shoulda makes it easy to write elegant, understandable, and maintainable tests. Shoulda consists of test macros, assertions, and helpers added on to the Test::Unit framework. It’s fully compatible with your existing tests, and requires no retooling to use.
Shoulda adds lots of features for testing Rails applications, but can also be used for plain Ruby ones.
There are three methods to install ruby-shoulda on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ruby-shoulda Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-shoulda using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ruby-shouldaInstall ruby-shoulda Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-shoulda using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ruby-shouldaInstall ruby-shoulda Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-shoulda using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ruby-shouldaHow To Uninstall ruby-shoulda on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the ruby-shoulda package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-shouldaUninstall ruby-shoulda And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ruby-shoulda and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-shouldaRemove ruby-shoulda Configurations and Data
To remove ruby-shoulda configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ruby-shouldaRemove ruby-shoulda configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ruby-shoulda configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge ruby-shouldaDependencies
