Sequel provides thread safety, connection pooling and a concise DSL for constructing SQL queries and table schemas.
Sequel includes a comprehensive ORM layer for mapping records to Ruby objects and handling associated records.
Sequel supports advanced database features such as prepared statements, bound variables, stored procedures, savepoints, two-phase commit, transaction isolation, master/slave configurations, and database sharding.
Sequel currently has adapters for ADO, Amalgalite, DataObjects, DB2, DBI, Firebird, IBM_DB, Informix, JDBC, MySQL, Mysql2, ODBC, OpenBase, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQLite3, Swift, and TinyTDS.
There are three methods to install ruby-sequel
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

How To Uninstall ruby-sequel on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the ruby-sequel
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-sequel
Uninstall ruby-sequel And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ruby-sequel
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-sequel
Remove ruby-sequel Configurations and Data
To remove ruby-sequel
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ruby-sequel
Remove ruby-sequel configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ruby-sequel
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
