How To Install ruby-selinux on Kali Linux

What is ruby-selinux

This package provides the Ruby bindings needed for developing Ruby SELinux applications. Security-enhanced Linux is a patch of the Linux kernel and a number of utilities with enhanced security functionality designed to add mandatory access controls to Linux. The Security-enhanced Linux kernel contains new architectural components originally developed to improve the security of the Flask operating system. These architectural components provide general support for the enforcement of many kinds of mandatory access control policies, including those based on the concepts of Type Enforcement, Role-based Access Control, and Multi-level Security.
There are three methods to install ruby-selinux on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ruby-selinux Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-selinux using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ruby-selinuxInstall ruby-selinux Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-selinux using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ruby-selinuxInstall ruby-selinux Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-selinux using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the ruby-selinux package we can use the following command:

To uninstall ruby-selinux and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-selinuxRemove ruby-selinux Configurations and Data
To remove ruby-selinux configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ruby-selinuxRemove ruby-selinux configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ruby-selinux configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
