How To Install ruby-riot on Debian 12

What is ruby-riot
ruby-riot is:
Riot is a fast, expressive, and context-driven unit-testing framework for the Ruby programming language.
In contrast to other popular Ruby testing frameworks such as Test::Unit, Shoulda and RSpec, Riot does not run a setup and teardown sequence before and after each test. In Riot, tests separated in “contexts” in which a “topic” object is defined, and assertions on this object are made.
There are three methods to install ruby-riot on Debian 12. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ruby-riot Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-riot using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ruby-riot

Install ruby-riot Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-riot using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ruby-riot
How To Uninstall ruby-riot on Debian 12
To uninstall only the ruby-riot package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-riot

To uninstall ruby-riot and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-riot
Remove ruby-riot Configurations and Data
To remove ruby-riot configuration and data from Debian 12 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ruby-riot
