What is ruby-request-store

ruby-request-store is:

RequestStore gives you per-request global storage of variables for Rack- compliant web servers. It is intended as an alternative to Thread.current, to avoid bugs in threaded server implementations. RequestStore supports Rails 3+ out-of-the-box, but can be configured for use in Rails 2.x and non-Rails environments.

There are three methods to install ruby-request-store on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install ruby-request-store Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install ruby-request-store using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install ruby-request-store

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
