How To Install ruby-redis-activesupport on Ubuntu 18.04

ruby-redis-activesupport is:
redis-activesupport provides a cache for ActiveSupport. Redis Store provides a full set of stores (Cache, I18n, Session, HTTP Cache) for modern Ruby frameworks like: Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, Rack, Rack::Cache and I18n. It supports object marshalling, timeouts, single or multiple nodes, and namespaces.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-redis-activesupport
using aptitude

How To Uninstall ruby-redis-activesupport on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the ruby-redis-activesupport
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-redis-activesupport

To uninstall ruby-redis-activesupport
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-redis-activesupport

configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ruby-redis-activesupport
Remove ruby-redis-activesupport configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ruby-redis-activesupport
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge ruby-redis-activesupport
