What is ruby-rack-attack

ruby-rack-attack is:

A rack middleware for throttling and blocking abusive requests. It protects your web app from bad clients. It allows whitelisting, blacklisting, throttling, and tracking based on arbitrary properties of the request.

There are three methods to install ruby-rack-attack on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install ruby-rack-attack Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install ruby-rack-attack using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install ruby-rack-attack using apt by running the following command:
