How To Install ruby-psych on Debian 12

on Debian 12.
What is ruby-psych
ruby-psych is:
ruby-psych is a YAML parser and emitter. Psych leverages libyaml for its YAML parsing and emitting capabilities. In addition to wrapping libyaml, Psych also knows how to serialize and de-serialize most Ruby objects to and from the YAML format.
Psych has been included with the main Ruby implementation since 1.9.2, and is the default YAML parser from 1.9.3 and beyond.
There are three methods to install ruby-psych
on Debian 12. We can use apt-get

and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ruby-psych Using apt-get

Install ruby-psych Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-psych
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ruby-psych
How To Uninstall ruby-psych on Debian 12
To uninstall only the ruby-psych
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-psych
Uninstall ruby-psych And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ruby-psych
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-psych

configuration and data from Debian 12 we can use the following command:
