How To Install ruby-pathutil on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install ruby-pathutil on Kali Linux.
What is ruby-pathutil
ruby-pathutil is:
Pathutil tries to be a faster pure Ruby impelementation of Pathname. It arose out of a need to fix basic problems with Pathname, such as suscepetibility to join overrides, need for automatic encoding, and normalization (for stuff like Jekyll) and the ability to do other safe-style operations in an encapsulated format, like copying files and folders with symlinks but only if they originate from the given root.
There are three methods to install ruby-pathutil on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ruby-pathutil Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-pathutil using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ruby-pathutilInstall ruby-pathutil Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-pathutil using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
