How To Install ruby-mimemagic on Kali Linux

The mimemagic Ruby library provides fast MIME detection by extension or content. It uses the freedesktop.org MIME database provided by the shared-mime-info package. It also contains some extra magic to detect Microsoft Office 2007+ formats.
There are three methods to install ruby-mimemagic on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ruby-mimemagic Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-mimemagic using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
