How To Install ruby-liquid on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install ruby-liquid on Kali Linux.
What is ruby-liquid
ruby-liquid is:
Liquid is a secure, non-evaling end user template engine. It has simple markup and beautiful results and is able to style emails as well as HTML.
It was developed for usage in Ruby on Rails web applications and integrates seamlessly as a plugin but it also works excellently as a stand alone library.
There are three methods to install ruby-liquid on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ruby-liquid Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-liquid using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ruby-liquidInstall ruby-liquid Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-liquid using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ruby-liquidInstall ruby-liquid Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-liquid using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ruby-liquidHow To Uninstall ruby-liquid on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the ruby-liquid package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-liquidUninstall ruby-liquid And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ruby-liquid and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-liquidRemove ruby-liquid Configurations and Data
To remove ruby-liquid configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ruby-liquidRemove ruby-liquid configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ruby-liquid configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge ruby-liquidDependencies
