What is ruby-kgio

ruby-kgio is:

kgio provides non-blocking I/O methods for Ruby without raising exceptions on EAGAIN and EINPROGRESS. It is intended for use with the Unicorn and Rainbows! Rack servers, but may be used by other applications (that run on Unix-like platforms).

There are three methods to install ruby-kgio on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install ruby-kgio Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install ruby-kgio using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install ruby-kgio using apt by running the following command:
