How To Install ruby-google-cloud-env on Kali Linux

This library provides information on the application hosting environment for apps running on Google Cloud Platform.
This library is supported on Ruby 2.3+. Google provides official support for Ruby versions that are actively supported by Ruby Core??that is, Ruby versions that are either in normal maintenance or in security maintenance, and not end of life.
There are three methods to install ruby-google-cloud-env
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ruby-google-cloud-env Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-google-cloud-env
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ruby-google-cloud-env
Install ruby-google-cloud-env Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-google-cloud-env
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ruby-google-cloud-env
Install ruby-google-cloud-env Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-google-cloud-env
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ruby-google-cloud-env
How To Uninstall ruby-google-cloud-env on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the ruby-google-cloud-env
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-google-cloud-env
Uninstall ruby-google-cloud-env And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ruby-google-cloud-env
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-google-cloud-env
Remove ruby-google-cloud-env Configurations and Data
To remove ruby-google-cloud-env
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ruby-google-cloud-env
Remove ruby-google-cloud-env configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ruby-google-cloud-env
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge ruby-google-cloud-env
