How To Install ruby-fugit on Kali Linux

What is ruby-fugit

ruby-fugit is:

Fugit is a set of time tools for flor (a Ruby workflow engine) and the floraison group. It uses et-orbi to represent time instances and raabro as a basis for its parsers.

Fugit is being used by projects like arask, sideqik-cron, flor, etcetera. The simplest way to use fugit is via Fugit.parse(s).

There are three methods to install ruby-fugit on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install ruby-fugit Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install ruby-fugit using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install ruby-fugit

How To Uninstall ruby-fugit on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the ruby-fugit package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove ruby-fugit

To uninstall ruby-fugit and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-fugit
