How To Install ruby-feature on Debian 12

In this tutorial we learn how to install ruby-feature
on Debian 12.
What is ruby-feature
ruby-feature is:
The feature toggle functionality has to be configured by feature repositories. A feature repository simply provides lists of active features (symbols!). Unknown features are assumed inactive.
With this approach Feature is highly configurable and not bound to a specific kind of configuration.
There are three methods to install ruby-feature
on Debian 12. We can use apt-get

and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install ruby-feature
using apt-get

Install ruby-feature Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-feature
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ruby-feature
How To Uninstall ruby-feature on Debian 12
To uninstall only the ruby-feature
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-feature
Uninstall ruby-feature And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ruby-feature
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-feature
Remove ruby-feature Configurations and Data
To remove ruby-feature
configuration and data from Debian 12 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ruby-feature
