This package contains the Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) almost entirely in pure Ruby. This gem does use OpenSSL but it only uses it to decode and encode ASN1 strings for ECDSA signatures. All cryptographic calculations are done in pure Ruby.
There are three methods to install ruby-ecdsa
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install ruby-ecdsa

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude

How To Uninstall ruby-ecdsa on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the ruby-ecdsa
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-ecdsa
Uninstall ruby-ecdsa And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ruby-ecdsa
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-ecdsa
Remove ruby-ecdsa Configurations and Data
To remove ruby-ecdsa
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ruby-ecdsa
