How To Install ruby-buftok on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install ruby-buftok on Kali Linux.
What is ruby-buftok
ruby-buftok is:
Statefully split input data by a specifiable token
BufferedTokenizer takes a delimiter upon instantiation, or acts line-based by default. It allows input to be spoon-fed from some outside source which receives arbitrary length datagrams which may-or-may-not contain the token by which entities are delimited. In this respect it’s ideally paired with something like EventMachine.
There are three methods to install ruby-buftok on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ruby-buftok Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-buftok using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ruby-buftokInstall ruby-buftok Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-buftok using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ruby-buftok using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ruby-buftokHow To Uninstall ruby-buftok on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the ruby-buftok package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-buftokUninstall ruby-buftok And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ruby-buftok and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-buftokRemove ruby-buftok Configurations and Data
To remove ruby-buftok configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ruby-buftokRemove ruby-buftok configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ruby-buftok configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
