How To Install ruby-blade on Kali Linux

What is ruby-blade
ruby-blade is:
Blade is a Sprockets toolkit for building and testing JS libraries. Sprockets is a Ruby library for compiling and serving web assets.
To begin with, you may add Blade to your Gemfile and then create a .blade.yml (or blade.yml) file in your project??s root, and define your Sprockets load paths and logical paths.
There are three methods to install ruby-blade
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ruby-blade Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-blade
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ruby-blade
Install ruby-blade Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-blade
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ruby-blade
Install ruby-blade Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-blade
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ruby-blade
How To Uninstall ruby-blade on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the ruby-blade
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-blade
Uninstall ruby-blade And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ruby-blade
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-blade
Remove ruby-blade Configurations and Data
To remove ruby-blade
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ruby-blade
