ruby-base62 is:

Base62 monkeypatches Integer to add an Integer#base62_encode instance method to encode an integer in the character set of 0-9 + A-Z + a-z. It also monkeypatches String to add String#base62_decode to take the string and turn it back into a valid integer.

There are three methods to install ruby-base62 on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install ruby-base62 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install ruby-base62 using apt-get by running the following command:
