Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh

How To Uninstall rsyslog-mmnormalize on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the rsyslog-mmnormalize package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove rsyslog-mmnormalize
