What is rsplib-tools

rsplib-tools is:

Reliable Server Pooling (RSerPool) is the IETF’s standard (RFC 5351 to RFC 5356) for a lightweight server pool and session management framework. It provides highly available pool management (that is registration handling and load distribution/balancing) by components called Registrar and a client-side/server-side API for accessing the service of a pool.

This package provides some test tools for RSerPool setups.

There are three methods to install rsplib-tools on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install rsplib-tools Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install rsplib-tools using apt-get by running the following command:
