How To Install rrdtool-tcl on Kali Linux

The Round Robin Database Tool (RRDtool) is a system to store and display time-series data (e.g. network bandwidth, machine-room temperature, server load average). It stores the data in Round Robin Databases (RRDs), a very compact way that will not expand over time. RRDtool processes the extracted data to enforce a certain data density, allowing for useful graphical representation of data values.
This package contains a Tcl interface to RRDs.
There are three methods to install rrdtool-tcl on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install rrdtool-tcl Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install rrdtool-tcl using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install rrdtool-tclInstall rrdtool-tcl Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install rrdtool-tcl using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To remove rrdtool-tcl configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge rrdtool-tclRemove rrdtool-tcl configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
