What is root-fonts
This package contains fonts used by ROOT that are not available in Fedora. In particular it contains STIX version 0.9 that is used by TMathText.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install root-fonts
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install root-fonts.

Update yum database with yum
