How To Install rnnoise on Rocky Linux 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install rnnoise
on Rocky Linux 8.
What is rnnoise
RNNoise is a noise suppression library based on a recurrent neural network. While it is meant to be used as a library, a simple command-line tool is provided as an example. It operates on RAW 16-bit (machine endian) mono PCM files sampled at 48 kHz. It can be used as ./examples/rnnoise_demo
We can use yum
or dnf
to install rnnoise
on Rocky Linux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install rnnoise.
Install rnnoise on Rocky Linux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install rnnoise
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install rnnoise
Install rnnoise on Rocky Linux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install rnnoise
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install rnnoise
How To Uninstall rnnoise on Rocky Linux 8
To uninstall only the rnnoise
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove rnnoise
