How To Install rnnoise on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install rnnoise on CentOS 8.
What is rnnoise
RNNoise is a noise suppression library based on a recurrent neural network. While it is meant to be used as a library, a simple command-line tool is provided as an example. It operates on RAW 16-bit (machine endian) mono PCM files sampled at 48 kHz. It can be used as ./examples/rnnoise_demo
We can use yum or dnf to install rnnoise on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install rnnoise.
Install rnnoise on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install rnnoise using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install rnnoise
Install rnnoise on CentOS 8 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install rnnoise using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install rnnoise
How To Uninstall rnnoise on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the rnnoise package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove rnnoise
