What is ripoff

ripoff is:

RipOff is a GTK+ based CD Ripper for Linux that sports a simple interface, CDDB lookups, and a plugin-based encoder architecture.

This version doesn’t have MP3 support compiled in, you’ll need to install the ripoff-mp3-plugin package to rip into mp3.

This package contains the ripoff executable.

There are three methods to install ripoff on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install ripoff Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
