How To Install rhinote on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install rhinote on Kali Linux.
What is rhinote
rhinote is:
Rhinote is a small program that provides virtual sticky-notes. It’s handy for jotting down quick notes or holding copied text that you plan to paste elsewhere later.
Notes can be saved as plain text for later viewing/editing with Rhinote or any other text editor.
Rhinote is designed to be “keyboard friendly”, that is, every single action is bound to a specific keystroke.
There are three methods to install rhinote on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install rhinote Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install rhinote using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install rhinoteInstall rhinote Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install rhinote using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install rhinoteInstall rhinote Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the rhinote package we can use the following command:

To uninstall rhinote and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove rhinoteRemove rhinote Configurations and Data
To remove rhinote configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge rhinoteRemove rhinote configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
