How To Install retroarch on Ubuntu 22.04

What is retroarch
retroarch is:
RetroArch is an open source, multi-platform frontend for the libretro API. It can be used as a modular multi emulator system, game engine, media player and 3D technical demonstration. These features are available through libretro cores.
It provides three built-in GUI: RGUI, XMB and GLUI.
There are three methods to install retroarch
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install retroarch
using apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install retroarch

Install retroarch Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude

sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install retroarch

To uninstall only the retroarch
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove retroarch
Uninstall retroarch And Its Dependencies

and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove retroarch
Remove retroarch Configurations and Data
To remove retroarch
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge retroarch
Remove retroarch configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove retroarch
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
