What is resiprocate-repro
repro is the SIP proxy developed as part of the reSIProcate project. It provides a high-quality, low maintenance solution for serving small and large IP telephony installations. reSIProcate is a framework that aims to fully implement the SIP protocol in first class C++. It is intended for use in other applications, such as the repro SIP proxy.
We can use yum or dnf to install resiprocate-repro on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install resiprocate-repro.
Install resiprocate-repro on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install resiprocate-repro using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install resiprocate-repro
Install resiprocate-repro on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install resiprocate-repro using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install resiprocate-repro
How To Uninstall resiprocate-repro on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the resiprocate-repro package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove resiprocate-repro
