What is resiprocate-libs
reSIProcate is a framework that aims to fully implement the SIP protocol in first class C++. It is intended for use in other applications, such as the repro SIP proxy. This package provides the core libraries libresip (SIP stack/RFC compliant message parsing) and libdum (SIP Dialog Usage Manager, a state machine for SIP dialogs).
We can use yum
or dnf
to install resiprocate-libs
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install resiprocate-libs.
Install resiprocate-libs on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install resiprocate-libs
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install resiprocate-libs
Install resiprocate-libs on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install resiprocate-libs
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install resiprocate-libs
How To Uninstall resiprocate-libs on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the resiprocate-libs
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove resiprocate-libs
