How To Install rep-doc on Ubuntu 18.04

In this tutorial we learn how to install rep-doc on Ubuntu 18.04.
What is rep-doc
rep-doc is:
rep is a dialect of Lisp, designed to be used both as an extension language for applications and as a general purpose programming language.
It was originally written to be mostly-compatible with Emacs Lisp, but has subsequently diverged markedly. Its aim is to combine the best features of Scheme and Common Lisp and provide an environment that is comfortable for implementing both small and large scale systems. It tries to be a “pragmatic” programming language.

There are three methods to install rep-doc on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install rep-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install rep-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install rep-doc
How To Uninstall rep-doc on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the rep-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove rep-doc
Uninstall rep-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall rep-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove rep-doc
Remove rep-doc Configurations and Data
To remove rep-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge rep-doc
