How To Install rep-doc on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install rep-doc on Kali Linux.
What is rep-doc
rep-doc is:
rep is a dialect of Lisp, designed to be used both as an extension language for applications and as a general purpose programming language.
It was originally written to be mostly-compatible with Emacs Lisp, but has subsequently diverged markedly. Its aim is to combine the best features of Scheme and Common Lisp and provide an environment that is comfortable for implementing both small and large scale systems. It tries to be a “pragmatic” programming language.

There are three methods to install rep-doc on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install rep-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install rep-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install rep-docInstall rep-doc Using apt

sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install rep-doc using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install rep-doc using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the rep-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove rep-docUninstall rep-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall rep-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove rep-docRemove rep-doc Configurations and Data
To remove rep-doc configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge rep-docRemove rep-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
