How To Install rep-doc on Debian 9

on Debian 9.
What is rep-doc
rep-doc is:
rep is a dialect of Lisp, designed to be used both as an extension language for applications and as a general purpose programming language.
It was originally written to be mostly-compatible with Emacs Lisp, but has subsequently diverged markedly. Its aim is to combine the best features of Scheme and Common Lisp and provide an environment that is comfortable for implementing both small and large scale systems. It tries to be a “pragmatic” programming language.

on Debian 9. We can use apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install rep-doc
using apt-get

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install rep-doc
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install rep-doc
How To Uninstall rep-doc on Debian 9
To uninstall only the rep-doc
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove rep-doc
