How To Install remote-tty on Kali Linux

What is remote-tty
remote-tty is:
This is Paul Vixie’s rtty serial console tool. It allows runs a server per port which then support multiple connections at time from “tip”/“cu”-like clients. It also supports logging of output from the port, even when no client is connected. This can be invaluable for post mortem diagnosis of crashes of serial consoled machines.
There are three methods to install remote-tty on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install remote-tty Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install remote-tty using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install remote-ttyInstall remote-tty Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install remote-tty using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install remote-ttyInstall remote-tty Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install remote-tty using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install remote-ttyHow To Uninstall remote-tty on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the remote-tty package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove remote-ttyUninstall remote-tty And Its Dependencies
To uninstall remote-tty and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove remote-ttyRemove remote-tty Configurations and Data
To remove remote-tty configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge remote-ttyRemove remote-tty configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove remote-tty configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
